Root Canals Chicago IL

Root Canals

Treating damaged or infected roots to eliminate pain.

When a nerve root that’s located inside your tooth becomes damaged, infected or abscessed, it must be removed. A damaged or infected root can cause you debilitating throbbing tooth pain. Removing the root eliminates the tooth pain immediately.
First, we gently remove the infected or inflamed root and then carefully shape and sterilize the inside of the canal. We use an X-rays or an apex locator to find the precise location of the root tip. Then we fill and seal the canal with a biocompatible material known as gutta-percha.

Eliminating your pain, improving your comfort.

For your comfort, we also use quiet handpieces that produce minimum vibration. We also do everything possible to preserve your tooth’s structure and provide more precise treatment to avoid future problems.
